By creating an account, accessing, or using StuBalance, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
• You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Use of StuBalance

StuBalance provides tools to help users track routines, study patterns, spending habits, progress, reminders, and wellbeing-related patterns. The service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not medical, mental health, financial, legal, or academic-professional advice.

Acceptable use

• Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its security features.
• Do not upload content or input data that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful.
• Do not use StuBalance to violate laws or the rights of others.

User content

You retain ownership of content and data you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, maintain, secure, and improve StuBalance. This includes processing submitted check-ins and preferences to generate weekly scores, summaries, recaps, and suggestions.

Notifications and communications

If you enable notifications or register a compatible device, StuBalance may send daily reminders, streak nudges, re-engagement reminders, and weekly recap notifications. Delivery may depend on device permissions, operating system behavior, network availability, and third-party notification services.

Availability and changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee that StuBalance will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error free. Scores, reminders, summaries, and insights may be delayed, unavailable, or incomplete from time to time.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms have been violated, if the service is being misused, or if needed to protect the platform, users, or third parties. You may stop using the service at any time, and the app may also provide an account deletion flow.

Disclaimers

StuBalance is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, StuBalance and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StuBalance and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Governing law

These terms will be governed by the laws of the applicable operating jurisdiction for StuBalance, excluding conflict of law rules. The legal entity name, venue, and dispute resolution details should be finalized during legal review.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of StuBalance after updated terms take effect means you accept the revised terms.
